March 15-28, 2027 Overview for invited friends of the Hazelrigs
A spacious time for friends to engage in a more residential Israeli experience as we spend a nearly a week each in Jerusalem and the Galilee in multi-room VRBO or Airbnbs. We will slow down and move at our own pace as we rent cars for our out-of-Jerusalem time and walk or use public transportation in Jerusalem, getting to know the city in a different sense than tourists usually experience. Breakfasts can be in our own kitchen sourced from local markets and dinners out on the town in local-favorite restaurants. Our days will be full, rich and slow experiences for your senses, with spacious time on sites while we connect with God and each other in spiritual formation exercises and guided reflection times. Our aim is to facilitate deepening friendship with Jesus and each other. Suggested exercises and reflective journal prompts provide the connections in the land that will take your Bible reading from black and white to living 3-D color, forever!
Some places we will experience across the regions of the Dead Sea, Sea of Galilee, and Jerusalem:
a partial list of the places we discerned together. These will be laid out in a schedule soon, but they will remain flexible as we determine while we are together in the land.
