Jenni Hoag has an M.A. Intercultural Studies and Cross-cultural Education – BIOLA University, Graduate Certificate in Christian Spiritual Formation & Soul Care from Denver Seminary. She is dedicated to helping people anchor their lives to Jesus Christ. As the Soulcare Anchoress (www.soulcareanchoress.com) she serves as a teacher, curriculum designer, program supervisor, and spiritual director for various churches, ministries, and schools. She offers soul care to people who live in over 10 countries, and recently taught a course on soul care at Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary.
Additionally, Jenni supervises graduate students at Denver Seminary who are being trained to offer soul care. She speaks widely, writes a fortnightly post called The Spigot (www.soulcareanchoress.com), hosts retreats, and provides one-on-one spiritual direction and soul care. She specializes in suggesting contemplative and hands on spiritual practices for individuals and ministry teams.
Jenni is married to Gary, and they have a grown son and daughter: Sammy (married to Emily) and Sophie (married to Peter). She also has two adorable granddaughters: Evangelene and Eliana, whom she gets to spend time with each week. They all currently live in Colorado. Jenni enjoys sweet treats, the outdoors, cooking shows, and frequent walks with their German Shorthair Pointer, Grace St. Catherine.
